Licht hypnotiserende abstracties die zich blijven ontwikkelen. De beelden pulseren mee op het ritme van zeven verschillende muziekstromen die gesynchroniseerd zijn op één tempo. Het beeld swingt, net als de muziek. Dit is de installatie Rhythm Painter van Jaap Drupsteen, nu in RMT. Drupsteen werkte als grafisch ontwerper onder meer voor de [NTS](https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nederlandse_Televisie_Stichting), [NOS](https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nederlandse_Omroep_Stichting), [VPRO](https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/VPRO) en de [VARA](https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/VARA), waar hij zich specialiseerde in het maken van leaders, zoals die van *[Het Gat van Nederland](https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Het_Gat_van_Nederland)*, netstyling, muziekvideo's en videografische producties, en was creatief directeur van Signum (BBDO-groep). Grote bekendheid verwierf hij met het ontwerp van een serie bankbiljetten voor [De Nederlandsche Bank](https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Nederlandsche_Bank) ter waarde van: 10, 25, 100 en 1000 gulden. Deze biljetten werden uit de roulatie genomen met de introductie van de [euro](https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euro). Ontwikkelde een videografische productie- en regiemethode, maakt eigen producties met simultaan gecomponeerde animaties. Het ontwerp bestaat uit grote kleurvlakken, waarin verregaand geabstraheerde historische film- en televisiebeelden zijn verwerkt.
